About the audit trail and Certificate of Completion
What the certificate page in each signed PDF and the separate audit-trail PDF record, and how your plan changes them.
SignQuick adds a Certificate of Completion to every signed PDF and builds a separate audit-trail PDF whose signer details depend on your plan.
Who can use this feature?
- Plans
- Every plan gets both records. On Pro and Team, the audit trail adds each signer's IP address, user agent, location and consent records.
Certificate of Completion page
When signing finishes, SignQuick adds a Certificate of Completion page to the end of the signed PDF, on every plan. The page is always in English.
For each signer, it lists the name, email, signing time, IP address, location details and consent records. It can also show the date until which the record is kept.
Audit trail contents by plan
The audit trail is a separate PDF that you download from a completed document. SignQuick builds it at download time, so it reflects your current plan.
On every plan, it includes the document details and the timestamp record. It also has the file hashes, which are fingerprints of the original and signed files.
For each signer, it lists the signing time and any emailed-code checks. It also shows the Event Timeline and a verification link with a QR code.
On Pro and Team, it adds each signer's IP address, user agent, location and consent records. It also adds a Signing Process Summary of viewing activity. On Team, if you upload a logo, it shows your workspace name instead of the SignQuick logo.
Keep both PDFs together
The signed PDF is the final agreement. The audit-trail PDF is a separate record of how it was signed. Keep both when you share or archive the agreement.
These records describe the signing workflow. They don't guarantee that a particular agreement has a specific legal effect.
