Sending documents
Void a document you sent
Stop a pending signature request so no one else can sign it.
To cancel a pending SignQuick request, void it from the document page; nobody can sign it afterwards, and voiding can't be undone.
Who can use this feature?
- Who can do it
- Owners and Admins can always void. Members can unless the Owner limits Who can delete or void documents.
- Before you start
- The document is Pending and not everyone has signed.
Void a pending document
- Step 1: In the sidebar, select Documents.
- Step 2: Open the pending document.
- Step 3: On the document page, select Void.
- Step 4: Optionally, type a reason in Reason for voiding (optional).
- Step 5: Select Void Document to confirm.
Result: SignQuick shows Document voided, and the document's status changes to Voided.
Common questions
Do recipients get an email when I void?
No. Anyone who opens their signing link sees Document Voided. Tell recipients through your usual channel if they expect the request.
Can I undo a void?
No. To collect signatures, start a new document with the right file and recipients.
Should I void or fix the signer instead?
If only a signer's name or email is wrong and nobody has signed, Correct details fixes it without voiding. See "Fix a signer's email or replace a signer" for the steps.
