Send signature reminders

Nudge a pending signer now, and let SignQuick follow up on a schedule.

Select Send reminder in a pending signer's row to nudge them; on Pro and Team, SignQuick also reminds them automatically every 3 days by default.

Who can use this feature?

Plans
Send reminder works on every plan. Automatic reminders are on Pro and Team.
Who can do it
Sending a reminder needs permission to send documents. Only an Owner or Admin can change the reminder interval.

Send a reminder now

  1. Step 1: In the sidebar, select Documents.
  2. Step 2: Open the pending document.
  3. Step 3: In the signer's row, select Send reminder.

Result: The row shows whether the reminder is queued, accepted for delivery, not delivered or not confirmed. If it's queued or not confirmed, select Check previous reminder before you send another. Reminder history lists it with automatic reminders and invitations.

Change the automatic reminder interval

On Pro and Team, SignQuick reminds every pending signer automatically, so there's nothing to turn on. The interval is 3 days unless an Owner or Admin changes it.

  1. Step 1: In the sidebar, select Settings, the gear icon next to your name.
  2. Step 2: Select Organization.
  3. Step 3: Under Document Defaults, set Reminder interval (days) to a number from 1 to 30.
  4. Step 4: Select Save settings.

Result: SignQuick shows Settings saved. Once a day, SignQuick checks for signers whose turn it is. It reminds each one when that many days have passed since their invitation or last reminder.

Common questions

Why don't I see Send reminder?

Send reminder appears only for a signer whose turn it is and who hasn't signed. It also stays hidden while the document waits for approval. A signer who signs in person shows Start in-person session instead.

Does a manual reminder delay the next automatic one?

Yes. The interval counts from the later of the invitation and the last accepted reminder, manual or automatic.

Can SignQuick flag documents that stay unsigned?

Yes. An Owner or Admin can set the Reminder attention policy in Settings, then Organization. It flags a document after 1 to 10 automatic reminders. The flag shows in SignQuick and sends no extra email.
