Why can't I sign in to SignQuick?

Fixes for a forgotten password, a magic link that fails, Google sign-in, a lost authenticator app and a deactivated account.

Most SignQuick sign-in problems are fixed from the Sign in page: reset your password, use a magic link or Google, or enter a backup code.

You only need to sign a document

Signing a document sent to you doesn't need a SignQuick account. If someone sent you a document, open the signing link in their email.

You forgot your password

  1. Step 1: On the Sign in page, select Forgot password?.
  2. Step 2: Enter your email address.
  3. Step 3: Select Send reset link.
  4. Step 4: Open the reset link in the email.
  5. Step 5: If SignQuick asks you to confirm, select Reset password.
  6. Step 6: Under Set new password, fill in New Password and Confirm Password.
  7. Step 7: Select Update password.

Result: SignQuick shows Password updated successfully and opens your dashboard.

The magic link doesn't arrive or doesn't work

A magic link works only for an existing account. If the link has expired, send a new one. If SignQuick says the link needs the browser where you asked for it, open it there or send a new one.

  1. Step 1: On the Sign in page, select Sign in with magic link instead.
  2. Step 2: Enter your email address.
  3. Step 3: Select Send magic link.
  4. Step 4: Open the link in the email.
  5. Step 5: If SignQuick asks you to confirm, select Sign in.

Result: SignQuick signs you in and opens your dashboard.

You signed up with Google

Use the same Google account you signed up with.

  1. Step 1: On the Sign in page, select Continue with Google.

You lost your authenticator app

Moving two-factor authentication to a new phone needs a code from the old app. A backup code signs you in once, but it can't move two-factor authentication. Without the old app, contact SignQuick support.

  1. Step 1: On the verification screen, select Use a backup code.
  2. Step 2: Enter one of your saved backup codes.
  3. Step 3: Select Verify.

Result: SignQuick signs you in. That backup code can't be used again.

Your account has been deactivated

The Sign in page says Your account has been deactivated when a plan downgrade left your team over its member limit. Ask your team's Owner to restore access.

Upgrading the plan reactivates members up to the new plan's limit. You can still accept an invitation to a different team.
