Protect your sign-in with an authenticator app and backup codes.
To turn on SignQuick two-factor authentication, open Settings, then Security, scan the QR code with an authenticator app and save your backup codes.
Who can use this feature?
- Before you start
- An authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator, Authy or 1Password.

- Step 2: Select Security.
- Step 3: Select Enable Two-Factor Authentication.
- Step 4: Scan the QR code with your authenticator app, or enter the manual code instead.

- Step 8: Store the backup codes somewhere safe.
- Step 9: Select I have saved my backup codes.

Common questions
What if I lose my phone?
On the verification screen, select Use a backup code and enter one of your saved codes. New backup codes and turning off two-factor authentication need a code from the app. If you no longer have the app, contact SignQuick support.
Do I need a code every time I sign in?
No. On the verification screen, select Trust this device for 30 days before you select Verify. That browser then skips the code for 30 days.
Is this the same as a signer's access code?
No. Two-factor authentication protects your own SignQuick sign-in. An access code or emailed code is a separate check that a sender adds to a signing request. Share access codes only with the intended recipient, and never put backup codes in a document you send.
